RedBet casino really needs to invest some money into their customer service. The staff give the impression they really want to help you. But they simply cannot. They were actually guessing at what their company's policies were. Who does that? It took them forever to start the Live Chat with us. Once they did so, minutes would go by waiting for a response. And more often than not, they would come back with “I guess this is what we do.” That does not inspire confidence. We feel that the customer support staff at RedBet are not given nearly enough training. And we feel that there aren't nearly enough customer support staff at RedBet to handle the amount of complaints that come in. This needs to be improved as quickly as possible.

They are polite, yes. But they don’t seem to have a clue how to do their jobs very well. They need more training.

Yes. The chat starts up very quickly. That’s not where the problem is. It lies in the staff not having enough training.

RedBet has some of the nicest customer service people we’ve dealt with on any site. Unfortunately, they don’t have any idea what they are doing. They are so nice that they admit this and say stuff like, “Well, I guess this or that is what might happen” to questions you give them.

They also take forever to respond. It was nearly nine minutes after we logged into Live Chat that someone started talking to us! And the response once we had them in Live Chat would take four or five minutes. We got the sense this was because they were trying to look up the answers. We think this all boils down to two things – a lack of training and a lack of enough customer service staff.

We do want to stress that the customer service staff at RedBet were very, very nice. If they just got training and some more help they could probably end up with great customer service.

Redbet Sign up and Login

Signing up and logging in are really not a problem with RedBet. As with most casinos in this day and age, getting an account is easy. Just come up with a username, your passwords and the usual junk they need to get you set up. Then once you've opened your account, you can just log in with your password. Once you are logged in, getting to Live Chat is easy. Just click on it. Of course, once you do you'll be waiting around forever for a response. That's very frustrating and really needs to be addressed by RedBet management. There really is no excuse for it. We've seen companies with great customer service. We've also seen companies with terrible customer service with people who just don't care. This is the first time we've seen people who are nice and want to be helpful, but who simply don't have the training or time they need to actually help players.

There are no free spins offered for signing up. That said, they do seem to run promotions quite often where it's possible to win free spins. So check out if they are running a free spin promotion at the time you want to play. There is no no-deposit bonus. They will give you up to £100 in matching funds with your first deposit. These funds have to be played through a minimum of 35 times which is the industry standard. You can get a free £10 bet on their sportsbook if you bet £10. The minimum odds for your free bet are 4/5. This is generally pretty standard for a casino. Some free spins might be nice, but it seems like there are other ways to get them. But in general, there is nothing exceptional going down at RedBet.

At RedBet, we found the politest customer service representatives we have seen anywhere. Unfortunately, they aren't given the skills they need to really help you. But they are so nice that we are sure that with a little bit of extra training, they could end up being excellent. They should get that training.

RedBet does not give poker nor casino bonuses in chat, and they seemed legitimately upset that they couldn't. Most casinos don't give free bonuses in chat these days – that's a thing of the past. Still, we did have to test them on it and we felt that if they were authorized to do so, they certainly would have.

Are they fast?

At RedBet, the customer service response time is very, very slow. We felt as though they were reading a book to find out the answer to even very basic questions. It felt like a bunch of nice people were just told to go talk to us without any training at all. We really don't understand why you get good people and don't train them.

We hate to say it, but no, they are not good at their jobs at all. Nice people can be bad at their jobs when they are not given enough support. That's clearly what's happened here. They would like to be helpful, but simply don't have the training or skills to provide any information.

Is their English adequate?

The English of the RedBet customer service staff was excellent. There was never any problem communicating with them or any trouble understanding what they were saying. They were generally good people put into an impossible situation without enough training. They should fix that.

Does the chat start quickly?

It took over eight minutes after we first clicked Live Chat before anyone actually got back in touch with us. There is no excuse for that. We have to assume there simply aren't enough people working to respond to questions in a reasonable amount of time.
